FCS Viewer is a handy utility for viewing the data within FCS files. Each segment is shown on the left, with header, keywords and data sections. Some integrity checks are done on load and problems reported.

Thank you to AGS Airports for choosing to use Abbeytek’s Airside System across the whole group. After two very positive roll-outs of Airside at Southampton and Aberdeen Airports, Glasgow Airport are now adopting the system, completing the AGS Airports group.

Alderley FZE have taken delivery of an OPC server written by Abbeytek Ltd. to allow their supervisory systems to maintain communication with up to 50 flow computers simultaneously. At the heart of the server is Abbeytek’s highly efficient communication engine developed over many years and utilising threading and events to ensure maximum efficiency. This makes higher data update rates from many more remote devices possible.

We are delighted to announce that Aberdeen International Airport have signed up to Abbeytek’s Airside System.

Abbeytek is proud to have been part of the team that built the on board software shipping with the Sysmex Cyflow Cube range of Flow Cytometers. Our expertise of programming real time interaction with embedded devices together with our extensive experience in modern C++ contributed to making Cyflow a world leading application in acquisition and analysis, enabling the measurement of millions of cells quickly and intuitively.

Airside is the new name for our Airport Bird Logging service. As well as a rebrand, the service now includes options for Runway Inspection logging and advanced audit procedure recording. It also has its own website at http://www.airsidesystem.com/

Abbeytek is proud to be a part of the team that developed Pall’s latest Fluid Cleanliness Monitor, the PCM500. Using our experience in industrial instrumentation and GUI development, the colour touch screen interface, on-board database and internal/external comms links were all built and tested by Abbeytek.

Abbeytek is delighted to have developed the reference application bundled with Renishaws new range of OEM Scanning Laser Modules. This Windows Desktop application runs on Windows 7, 8 and 10 and connects to an SLM device, allowing the operator to configure, control and collect data from it. The SLM command and control protocol can be examined for reference and a full real-time spacial plot is displayed, pan and zoom-able and custom shaded by signal strength.

This application is the latest in a long line of developments between Abbeytek and Renishaw based around their SLM, ILM and QuarryMan products, covering such diverse areas as Silo measurement, underground location tracking, cliff erosion monitoring, bridge clearance measurement for truck routing and height tracking for aircraft.

We are delighted to announce that Newquay Airport have signed up to Abbeytek’s Airport Bird Logging System. As part of the service, they will have access to Abbeytek’s new online  portal where they can generate useful graphs on their data and obtain downloads as required.

We are pleased to announce that Guernsey Airport have signed up to use Abbeytek’s Airport Bird Logging System to help monitor the wildlife around the airfield. After using the system for a month, they commented “What a fantastic tool and the report’s a very good insight as to our and the birds habits”.

Abbeytek is pleased to have helped in the development of the first version of Yardmarshal, a web based platform for business process automation.

Abbeytek is pleased to announce the first version of FCS Viewer, a compact Windows based utility to allow you to explore the contents and structure of FCS files. (Flow Cytometry Standard). The utility shows the contents of the files, header, keywords and actual data, and performs some validation on them when loaded.

Abbeytek is pleased to have developed the first version of CytoSwarm, a desktop client and cloud based algorithm engine for running R algorithms on FCS files.

Abbeytek is run by Gary Whitehead, a highly experienced software developer with many years of programming under his belt. Starting in the late 1970s, teaching himself basic programming on a Commodore Pet, in 1989 he graduated from York University with a degree in Computer Science and since then has gained a wealth of experience in many varied sectors of the software and engineering business. His career started with 8 years at Spectra-Tek Ltd. building oil / gas metering systems followed by 2 years at Unidec Systems, designing, selling and installing PCs and networks.

Abbeytek was founded in 1998 in Rosedale Abbey, a picturesque village in the heart of the North York Moors. We're now based in Pickering, a small town between York and Whitby.
