Abbeytek is delighted to have developed the reference application bundled with Renishaws new range of OEM Scanning Laser Modules. This Windows Desktop application runs on Windows 7, 8 and 10 and connects to an SLM device, allowing the operator to configure, control and collect data from it. The SLM command and control protocol can be examined for reference and a full real-time spacial plot is displayed, pan and zoom-able and custom shaded by signal strength.

This application is the latest in a long line of developments between Abbeytek and Renishaw based around their SLM, ILM and QuarryMan products, covering such diverse areas as Silo measurement, underground location tracking, cliff erosion monitoring, bridge clearance measurement for truck routing and height tracking for aircraft.
